Development Indicators

The World Bank annually publishes World Development Indicators for purchase and online. Additional World Bank international statistics are available online.

 

Macroeconomic Data

The International Monetary Fund produces a number of reports and datasets with current and forecasted macroeconomic conditions. IMF data include the World Economic Outlook, International Financial Statistics Database, Balance of Payment Statistics Yearbook and the Direction of Trade Statistics.

Country Data

Some measures include public, expert or investor perception of a countries' business climate. Examples include Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index. The World Bank also has its own governance indicators and Doing Business database that measures business regulations.
